How a visit works
You book online or by phone. We'll confirm by email.
At your appointment time, you click the link we send. Most visits are 15 to 30 minutes.
Prescriptions go to your pharmacy. Lab requisitions and referrals reach the right place. We follow up if anything's pending.
About us
MCL Medicare is a Manitoba-based telehealth clinic. We started because too many people don’t have a family doctor, and the ones who do can rarely get an appointment when they need one.
We’re trying to fix that - carefully, and one community at a time. Our work begins with telehealth visits for adults across Manitoba and an initiative supporting Norway House Cree Nation.

Anyone in Manitoba with Manitoba Health coverage. We're a primary care clinic for adults of all ages who want a steady relationship with a family doctor without having to drive to a clinic.
No. A phone or tablet works. We send you a plain link by text or email at your appointment time - you tap it and your doctor appears. There's no app to download, no account to set up before your first visit.
Most visits are 15 to 30 minutes - long enough to actually talk through what's going on, not a rushed handoff. If you need more time, we book it.
Prescriptions go to the pharmacy you tell us about. Lab requisitions and specialist referrals are sent to the right place automatically. We follow up if anything is pending.
Wherever we can, yes. Continuity is one of the things we're building MCL Medicare around - your doctor knows your history, so you're not starting over at every visit.
Telehealth visits with a Manitoba-licensed family doctor are covered the same way as in-person visits for eligible residents. You won't be billed for the visit itself.
Your visits and records are kept in a secure, Canadian-hosted system. We follow PHIA (Personal Health Information Act) for Manitoba and never share your information for marketing or sell it to third parties.
